Sutton, DeMoraes named Players of the Week for Week One

GOODMAN --- Holmes freshman forward Mallory Sutton of Saint Amant, La. and freshman forward Joao Victor DeMoraes of Utica have been named Players of the Week for their play this week.

Sutton scored three goals in the Lady Bulldogs' three wins this week. Holmes defeated Southern Union State, 1-0, Pensacola State, 7-0, and Dallas-Brookhaven, 2-0.

DeMoraes scored three goals and had two assists in one match this week. Holmes played two matches but DeMoraes didn't play in the second. He had three goals and two assists against Tougaloo on Tuessday. The Bulldogs defeated Tougaloo, 15-1, and Northeast Alabama, 1-0, on Saturday.
