Roberts, Kuhn named Holmes CC's Players of the Week

GOODMAN --- Holmes Community College sophomore Bella Roberts on the women's basketball team and sophomore Thomas Kuhn on the baseball team have been named Holmes Community College Players of the Week following their play last week.

Roberts, a Winona Christian product from Winona, averaged 27 points per game last week for the Lady Bulldogs. Holmes picked up two wins last week over East Central and Hinds. 

Kuhn, a Grenada High product from Grenada, hit .625 last week for the Bulldogs. He went 10-for-16 with one homerun, two doubles and eight RBI. Holmes picked up wins over Mississippi Delta and Coahoma and two wins over Florida Post Grad and two wins over Southeastern College out of Iowa.
