Lopez and Smith named Players of the Week

Brianna Lopez and Deion Smith have been named Players of the Week for their play last week.

Lopez, a sophomore forward on the No. 1 Lady Bulldogs women's soccer team from Fort Smith, Ark., finished the week with 11 shots and nine shots on goal and scored one goal but had seven assists in wins over Southwest and Pearl River.  Holmes won 7-1 over Southwest and 5-0 over Pearl River. Smith, a sophomore receiver from Jackson, finished the game Thursday with Coahoma with four catches for 134 yards and two touchdowns in Holmes' 58-14 win over Coahoma.
