Student athletes recognized for work in the classroom

Holmes Community College athletes not only performed well on the playing surfaces this season but did outstanding work in the classroom with 82 being named scholar athletes in the fall (3.4 GPA or higher), 77 in the spring and 72 for both fall and spring semesters with an overall GPA of 2.84.

One hundred and twenty student athletes graduated in May. Sixty-eight have been nominated for the MACJC Academic All-State Team (21 for 3.8-4.0 GPA and 47 for 3.25-3.79 GPA) and 39 for the NJCAA Academic Team (12 for 4.0 GPA, 10 for 3.8-3.99 GPA and 17 for 3.6-3.79 GPA).
