Lady Bulldogs edge Lady Indians, 1-0

FULTON  --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs used a single goal on Friday afternoon here to edge the Lady Indians of Itawamba Community College, 1-0.

With the win, the Lady Bulldogs went to 7-5 overall and 4-3 in the North Division. They will play East Central on Tuesday afternoon in Ridgeland at 2 p.m. The Lady Bulldogs are in a must-win situation to make the MACJC State Tournament next weekend. They also must have help from Northwest Mississippi Community College, who must either lose or tie against Hinds Community College on Tuesday.

Carrie Robinson scored Holmes' only goal in the 73rd minute on an assist from Sam Hancock. Kaitlyn Romei had one save in the game on ICC's only shot attempt.
