SENATOBIA --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs saw their hopes for a playoff run and their season end here Thursday night with a 76-60 loss to the Northwest Mississippi Community College Lady Rangers.
With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs ended the season 10-13 overall and 5-7 in the North.
Holmes held a three-point lead with 11:09 to play in the first half on a Jasmine Edwards layup. Northwest tied the game at 14 and then jumped out to as many as 13 and led 35-26 at the break.
Northwest increased the margin to 24 in the second half and began to pull away from the Lady Bulldogs.
Tamia Grady finished the game with 19 points while Karla Levy had 12. Levy had 10 rebounds while Jessica Miles and Krystal Baker had seven rebounds each.
