Lady Bulldogs blow out Coahoma Lady Tigers, 94-37
GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs hit 11 three-pointers versus the Coahoma Community College Lady Tigers helping the Lady Bulldogs score 57 points in the second half to blow out the Lady Tigers, 94-37, here Thursday night.
With the win, the Lady Bulldogs went to 9-11 overall and 4-5 in the North Division. Holmes travels to Itawamba on Monday night, Feb. 11, before returning home on Feb. 18 versus Northeast Mississippi Community College. The game can be watched live at holmesathletics.ihigh.com.
Denesha Dillard led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 31 points including seven three-pointers with six of those coming in the second half of play. Dasha Adams followed with 25 points including two three-pointers, Tamia Grady had 15, Jessica Miles had 11 and Krystal Baker had 10. Holmes led 37-19 at halftime.
