Fall 2012 marks the first season that David Dixon has worked with the Holmes Community College Men's Soccer Program.
Prior to Holmes, Dixon served as Director of Coaching/Head Coach for the Mississippi Brilla. He had a record of 47-17-18. The team finished in the Final 8 in 2011, and he was named finalist for Coach of the Year in 2010. He was also a USL Pro Combine Coach.
He has also served as head coach at Milligan College and Belhaven College, where he held a record of 142-90-14. His teams were in the NAIA Final 8 once; NAIA Final 16 once; NAIA Regional Championships twice; and was named Conference Coach of the Year once. He also served as an assistant at Temple University and Roberts Wesleyan College. He has the following certifications: NSCAA Advanced National Diploma "Distinguished Pass"; NSCAA National Diploma "Distinguished Pass" and NSCAA Goalkeeper License.
He played at Houghton College, where he was named All-American twice, All-Region twice; and All-Conference three times. He also played for the Charlotte Eagles, where his team was a national finalist, and also played for the Jackson Chargers.
Prior to Holmes, Dixon and his wife, Kerri, have two children, Emmelyn and Brode. They reside in Clinton.
