Seven players named to President's or Dean's List

Seven members of the Holmes Community College men's soccer team excelled in the classroom during the Fall Semester as well by being named to either the President's or Dean's list.

To be placed on the president's list, a student must have a grade point average of 3.7 to 4.0 while a dean's list student must have a grade point average of 3.4 to 3.69.  Ryan James, Alex Hogue and Arthur Mullins each were named to the President's list while Willie Goliday, Ryan Harris, Ryan Hudson and James Oliver were named to the Dean's list.

"We had a great season qualifying for the playoffs for the past 3 consecutive seasons and winning back-to-back MACJC North Division Championship but having roughly a third of our team being awarded academic honors is just the icing on the cake," Holmes Head Soccer Coach Matt Convertino said. "We feel like we have a proven track record that players can enroll here at Holmes Community College, win soccer games but more importantly develop academically and be in a position to move onto whatever their next step in life is."
