Bulldogs take exhibition match with Faulkner, 4-2

RIDGELAND --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs defeated Faulkner University here Tuesday afternoon, 4-2, in an exhibition match.
The teams played three 30-minute periods Holmes took the 1-0 lead in the second minute on a goal by Bryan Diaz. Holmes' Michael Orcutt his first of two goals in the 16th minute to increase the lead to 2-0. He added his second goal in the 21st minute to let Holmes go up 3-0.
Faulkner's Kpemoua scored in the 27th minute to make the score 3-1. Holmes' Ryan Hudson put Holmes up 4-1 in the 51st minute, and Kpemoua scored in the 87th minute to end scoring at 4-2.
The Bulldogs will play Southwest in the first game of the season on Friday at 4 p.m. at Freedom Ridge Park.
